Religion says “Do” while Jesus said “Done!” In John 6, the crowds following Jesus wanted to know what they had “to do” to earn the Bread of Life. Jesus explains that the Bread of Life is a free gift to all those who only believe. In John’s Gospel, we are encouraged to Believe..and LIVE!
Going Public: Baptism at Crosslink
The world tells you that your faith is a private matter and not to be discussed publically. But, Jesus commands His followers to be anything but private about Him. In fact, He calls every one of His followers to “Go Public” in a very specific way: Baptism. Today, we will use Jesus as our example and the Bible as our guide to “Go Public” with Christ.

Everybody loves the idea of Jesus feeding thousands of hungry people on a hillside, but many have trouble believing that Jesus would intentionally send his followers into a raging storm.
