As followers of Jesus we are called to make disciples! This Sunday begins a theme that will focus on the mission of the church and how as individuals we need to let our light shine. In this first message, Pastor Michael unpacks Philippians 1:12-22, explaining what comes along with our mission, what we are to know, and how we are called to live for Christ in everything we do! Gospel of John: Follow Me
In the last passage in the Gospel of John, Jesus gives us a simple invitation - “follow me.” We see in John 21:15-25 that Jesus restores Peter, commissions him for ministry, and invites him to continue to follow. In this message, Scott Brown shows us four things we need to do in order to fully follow Jesus - get right with Him, love Him more than anything else, expect to take up our cross, and fix our eyes on Him.
This Little Light of Mine
Jesus is the light of the world and we are called to reflect His light. In Philippians 2:12-18, the apostle Paul encourages the church in Philippi to live out their faith and in doing so, they will be like lights shining in this dark world. In this message, our new lead pastor, Matthew Kirkland challenges our church to do the same - to be a light in our community, our nation, and our world.
Gospel of John: The Secret to Great Fishing
In John 21:1-14, we find the disciples heading out on a fishing expedition. Doing things their own way, they find themselves utterly fruitless. Under the Lord’s direction, however, they find a miraculous catch of fish. In this message, Pastor Marty reminds and challenges us to let Jesus direct our steps each day.
