Called to Commit: The Church and Its Master

Text: Ephesians 5:22-33

Have you ever noticed that much of our culture is aimed at catering to our every desire? Restaurants, smartphone apps, movie streaming, and music services – all of it is saying, "You can have it your way." Unfortunately, this 'smorgasbord' mentality becomes a way of life for many and even impacts the way many believers view the church. But is this what Christ wants? Is this healthy? Is this how Jesus views the church? Be sure to listen to discover how Christ views the church and how we should think about it.

Seeking the Things Above

Text: Colossians 3:1-15

What are you seeking in your life today? There are many things in life that we can seek after, many of which are good. However, while these things can be good, they aren’t to be the primary objective for the Christian. God tells us specifically that the key to living a life that really matters for eternity is to focus 'upward.' How do we do that? How do we live like heaven when our dwelling is on the earth? How do we seek the things above, while we live down here below? If you want to live a life that pleases the Lord, be sure to listen today to discover how you can effectively seek the things above.

Running Well

Text: Hebrews 12:1-3

Throughout Scripture, the Christian life is often referred to as a 'race.' This description reminds us that when a person puts their faith in Christ, God takes them from their old path and direction and places them onto a new path that accomplishes His purposes for their life. However, we shouldn’t be satisfied with merely being in the race. God has called us to run well and has even given us instructions on how to run to win.

Christianity is not a week-by-week experience, but a day-by-day experience. In the book of Acts, the early church did certain things DAILY, which explains why the church grew so phenomenally. So today we are going to look at six verses in the Bible and I want you to note the word 'daily' or 'day by day' in each of them.
