In God We Trust: Trusting God's Plan

Text: 1 Kings 17:1-7

Life is hard - things go differently than hoped or planned, changes come suddenly, bad news comes our way, grief sets in, sin destroys, discouragement overwhelms, depression beats us down, and at times all hope seems lost. Through it all, though, we have a gracious Father who loves us and draws us to Himself. He can be trusted through every storm of life. If you need to grow in trusting Him today, please listen to this message.

Raising a Family of Worshippers

Text: Deuteronomy 6:1-7

Raising a family can be challenging, but as parents, we are called to bring up our children in the ways of the Lord. In Deuteronomy 6:1-7, Moses instructs the people of Israel to listen to, obey, and love the Lord, and also teach and talk about the Lord to their children and grandchildren. One of most effective ways to do this is through a daily time of family worship. We are also to constantly be looking for opportunities to teach our children about the Lord inside and outside of our homes. As we put these spiritual practices in place in our families, we can effectively raise a family of worshippers!

However, at the end of every experience there is still that same empty feeling. We learn from this passage that the key to joy is in living and giving for the glory of God and the good of others. Please listen today to discover how generosity can change your life and the lives of others.
