Raising a Family of Worshippers

Text: Deuteronomy 6:1-7

Raising a family can be challenging, but as parents, we are called to bring up our children in the ways of the Lord. In Deuteronomy 6:1-7, Moses instructs the people of Israel to listen to, obey, and love the Lord, and also teach and talk about the Lord to their children and grandchildren. One of most effective ways to do this is through a daily time of family worship. We are also to constantly be looking for opportunities to teach our children about the Lord inside and outside of our homes. As we put these spiritual practices in place in our families, we can effectively raise a family of worshippers!
