One Another: Admonish One Another

Text: Colossians 3:14-17

One of the great joys of the Christian life is that we share a common fellowship in the Body of Christ – the Church. We aren’t left alone to do life by ourselves because we have the Holy Spirit and other believers who are there to encourage us and help us to grow. One of the many ways that we grow is through faithful and loving “admonitions”. Though we naturally resist confrontation and avoid it all costs, the fact is that we occasionally need it. This message shows us how God uses these “admonitions” to mold us and equip us for His purposes in our lives, revealing practical advice for how to give, receive, and respond to these vital moments in life.

Our serving is so simple, yet it reveals so much about the condition of our hearts. Please listen today and consider what steps the Lord would have you to take.

One Another: Love One Another

Text: Luke 10:25-37

If there was ever a time in our world where we needed to be reminded of the value and importance of “one another,” it is certainly today. We live in a “me first” society where the voices of the culture and the agenda behind it continually feed our fleshly nature to look out for self first. Fortunately, God is not silent on the subject. He has given us instructions and examples of how we are to treat one another and, more importantly, He has given His Spirit to manifest the life of Jesus in and through all who follow Him as Lord. There are many “one another” statements in Scripture, but they can all be summarized in the foundational truth that we discover in this message today.
