There are many voices, opinions, and ideals being represented in the world today. How can we know what is true? How can we determine what is from God and what isn’t? Even in the Church today, with so many denominations, differences, and even divisions, how can we be certain of God’s plan and purpose? It all boils down to the Person of the Holy Spirit. Who is He? What does He do? How does He work in our lives today? All of these questions and more are answered in this message, and we pray that you will listen and be encouraged today.

More Than a Name: Loving One Another

Text: 1 John 3:10-18

In this week’s message we discover another characteristic of those who truly follow Jesus. He said in John 13:35, “By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” This sounds so simple, but how do we truly examine and measure this? How can we be sure that our love is the same as what Jesus described? If you want to know that you are saved and in right relationship with Him, we invite you to listen today to examine your life and be encouraged in the truth of His Word on this vital subject.

More Than a Name: Abiding in Christ

Text: 1 John 2:18-29

Are you “abiding” in Christ? The word is strange and uncommon in our culture. In its original context it meant “to be connected, to live, to remain.” It was used to describe those who were deeply and continuously connected. Today, we might describe close friends, neighbors, or family members as those that we are “close and connected to” or “doing life with.” While these relationships can be a wonderful blessing in our lives, they can never give us what can only come through a relationship with Jesus. We invite you to listen to this message today to discover the many joys of “abiding” in Christ.
