Suit Up!: The Breastplate of Righteousness

Text: Ephesians 6:10-14

In Ephesians 6, God shows us how we can be equipped and readied for the spiritual battles we face. He uses the Roman soldier’s armor to describe the armor that He provides for us through Christ. This message explains the breastplate of righteousness and the vital role it plays in protecting our hearts and providing victory against the enemy’s attacks. It is important for us to understand where this righteousness comes from, how we experience it, and how we apply it on this spiritual battleground. We urge you to listen today, and suit up!

Suit Up!: The Belt of Truth

Text: Ephesians 6:10-14

The Apostle Paul had spent two years in a Roman prison and had been chained directly to a Roman soldier during much of the imprisonment. As he studied the Roman soldiers’ armor, God began to show him how in Christ we, too, have an armor that we must put on as we walk through spiritual battles. While every piece of the armor is important for our protection and preparation, God begins with the belt of truth because of the strategic role it plays in the whole armor. We invite you to listen today and make every effort to urgently suit up and put on the belt of truth.

Suit Up!: Standing Firm in the Battle

Text: Ephesians 6:10-13

Sooner or later, every Christian discovers that the Christian life is a battleground. God made us in His image, sent His Son to save us, drew us to Himself, and has an incredible future for us. However, our fierce adversary, Satan, does all that he can to hinder and defeat us from walking forward in victory. We don’t have to be afraid or anxious about this struggle because God has given us all that we need and even instructs us how to stand firm in the battle. There are three practical but pertinent foundational actions in this message that we need to apply if we are to stand firm. We hope you will listen today, be encouraged, and be committed to unpacking God’s armor with us over the next several weeks.
