So Much More: God's People Are Rejoicing!

As we have seen throughout our “So Much More” series in the book of Nehemiah, God has done an incredible work in helping the people rebuild the wall of Jerusalem in just 52 days, but also doing a work in the lives of the people - restoring their commitment to following His ways. After all that is accomplished, the people rejoiced by throwing a huge praise party as they dedicated the wall of Jerusalem. So Much More: God Is Waiting

So Much More: God Is Faithful

Nehemiah 9 records one of the most concise summaries of the history of Israel. The thirty-eight verses comprised of 1,500 years of God’s dealing with man could be summarized in one word – “Faithful.” In every season, situation, and even amid every sorrow and sin, God remained faithful to His people. Nehemiah 8 shows us clearly that this book of the Old Testament wasn’t really about a man, a building project, or lessons on leadership or team unity. This book is all about how God works to restore people to a right relationship with Him. In this message, we see how God spoke through His Law to remind the people of His faithfulness, to lead them to repent of their sins, and to direct them to what He desired from them as they moved forward.
