Worthy of It All: Worthy of Our Surrender

Text: Luke 1:26-38, 46-50

Christmas has become synonymous with gift-giving for many reasons. Regardless of its origins, this is quite fitting because we should ultimately be celebrating the fact that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.” It is through faith in Jesus that we receive eternal life, the riches of Heaven, fellowship with the saints, and all the heavenly gifts of God. Truly, God has given us so much, but the question we must now answer is this: “What will I give Him?” What is it that you will give to the Lord in response to His generosity towards you? From Luke 1, we discover what Mary gave to the Lord in response to His work in her life, and we invite you to listen to this message today to consider how you can give the same.

So Much More: God's People Are Rejoicing!

Text: Nehemiah 12:27-43

As we have seen throughout our “So Much More” series in the book of Nehemiah, God has done an incredible work in helping the people rebuild the wall of Jerusalem in just 52 days, but also doing a work in the lives of the people - restoring their commitment to following His ways. After all that is accomplished, the people rejoiced by throwing a huge praise party as they dedicated the wall of Jerusalem. In this message, Pastor Scott takes a look at three specific actions the people of Israel took in their worship celebration that can apply to us today as we gather to worship the Lord.

So Much More: God Is Waiting

Text: Nehemiah 9:38-10:39

The entire book of Nehemiah has been leading us up to this glorious moment in chapter 10. God hadn’t been doing all this work to point them to a leader, a place, or even a great project. Every step of the way, God had been orchestrating situations and circumstances to draw the people to Himself, and we see the same in our own lives today. Wherever you are and whatever your situation, God loves you and He is waiting for you to turn completely to Him. We invite you to listen to this message today and consider your next step.

So Much More: God Is Faithful

Text: Nehemiah 9:1-38

Nehemiah 9 records one of the most concise summaries of the history of Israel. The thirty-eight verses comprised of 1,500 years of God’s dealing with man could be summarized in one word – “Faithful.” In every season, situation, and even amid every sorrow and sin, God remained faithful to His people. He never once failed His promise or withheld His purposes. We invite you to listen closely today to be encouraged by the faithfulness of God and exhorted to commit your all to Him.
