Text: Colossians 2:9-15
Many ideas and illustrations come to mind when we think of power, but none adequately depict the power that Christ displayed through His work on the cross. Earthly power may command men, armies, countries, and wealth, but it cannot save man’s soul, set him free from sin, or make him a new creation. The only power that accomplishes this is the power of God that is fully displayed in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. We invite you to listen today to consider if you have truly been changed by Jesus and to ensure that you are faithfully living it out.
