Many Christians live their lives daily following Jesus. However, most miss the powerful connection between following Jesus and fishing for men. In this message, we see how following and fishing are directly related. We learn clearly how Jesus changes us and calls us to those around us. The Good News is that Jesus came for all. The great news is that He calls us to partner with Him in His mission.

Jesus invited His disciples to join Him on a life-changing and life-giving mission. But in order to join Him, they had to decide whether Jesus could be trusted and if they were willing to follow. Because they said “Yes” to Jesus, their lives and the lives of countless others were changed. The mission and the message is still the same today, and Jesus invites every disciples to join Him on the adventure.

Jesus compared our lives to the building of a house. The foolish man builds his house on his own plans and selfish pursuits. The wise man builds his house on the Rock by seeking the will of God and obeying Him. When the time of testing comes, the only life that will stand is the one that is anchored in Christ.
