Songs in the Night

Text: Acts 16:16-34

In Acts 16, Paul and Silas are unjustly thrown in a prison in Philippi, but rather than moan and complain about their circumstances, they worship the Lord! In this message, entitled “Songs in the Night,” Pastor Scott explains how when we worship the Lord in the midst of trials, some amazing things can happen! When we sing our “song in the night,” the Lord hears our song and responds in power, the church hears our song and is edified, and the world hears our song and is pointed to Christ. We’ll also take a look at Psalm 54 and learn about how we can get through times of suffering in our lives!

Talent Show

Text: Matthew 25:14-30

In the Parable of the Talents, Jesus reminds us that we are not owners but stewards of the resources He has entrusted to us. We must exercise our stewardship responsibilities with humility and gratefulness. One day we will be held accountable for how we have managed God's resources, so let's be faithful to serve and give the Master our absolute best!

Rescued by Jesus

Text: Matthew 12:38-41

God used Jonah greatly to bring repentance and salvation to the entire city of Nineveh. However, many years later God the Father sent Someone greater than Jonah to bring salvation to the entire world. He alone can rescue us from our sin.
