One Another: Pray for One Another

Text: James 5:13-20

There is no more vital topic to the follower of Christ than prayer. There are many things that we value in the church – worship, preaching, fellowship, giving, encouragement, serving, evangelism, missions, etc. – but none of these are spoken of more in the Bible than prayer. Yet, many followers of Christ admit that they are weak in this discipline. So, why is this important, who should we be praying for, and how does God work through prayer? Please listen to this message to be encouraged and challenged to grow in praying for one another in the body of Christ.

One Another: Accept One Another

Text: Romans 15:1-13

From the youngest of ages, we have a deep desire for acceptance. In our families, on the playground, in the classroom, and even into our adult years we long to be accepted and received by others. The good news is that all who believe in Jesus are accepted by Him. He welcomes all to come to Him by faith and promises that He will never reject those who do. He now calls all His followers to accept one another. How is this possible? How can we do this when have so many differences? How can this be accomplished when so much around us seeks to divide us? This message shows us how we can accept one another in Christ and reveals the great blessing that awaits those who do.

One Another: Encourage One Another

Text: Hebrews 10:23-25

Most people understand the value and importance of encouragement. We long to receive encouragement from others and are easily discouraged when it is lacking. To make matters worse, our discouragement is often escalated by the chaos, calamity, and confusion we see all around us. But for those who follow Jesus, we don’t have to live in fear, discouragement, or dismay. We can still be greatly encouraged and be used of God to greatly encourage others. How is this possible in our broken world? Be sure to listen today to experience the encouragement that we have in Jesus and to be equipped to share this encouragement with others.

One Another: Be Devoted to One Another

Text: Romans 12:9-13

Are you a devoted individual? Many are devoted to a sports team, a favorite restaurant, a political party, etc. without any reservations. But are you devoted to people, especially those in the body of Christ? Are you completely dedicated to others who may look differently, see things differently, or talk differently than you? In this message we are reminded that in the body of Christ there is great diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and gifts. However, in Christ we all share the same calling to be devoted to one another in brotherly love. This message explains what this looks like and challenges all believers to be like Jesus in our love and devotion to one another.
