Hero or Hero Maker?

Text: 2 Timothy 2:1-7 (NASB)

Paul's instruction to Timothy serves as a guide for our lives and relationships as well. In this passage we are challenged by the kind of person we must be, the task we must fulfill, and the price we must pay. When we rise up to be faithful in these areas, we can revolutionize the church and society for years to come.

God Says Go!

Text: Acts 8:26-40

God says GO. It’s a simple statement, but the response may not be quite so easy. God has a plan for your life and, though you may not understand it fully, He wants you to be a part of that plan. In Acts 8:26-40, we learn about a man named Philip who didn’t fully understand God’s plan, but he submitted and obeyed. He took action and was bold. He persevered. The result? We hope and pray you will check out this week’s message for the answer!

Worship 1-2-3: Three Audiences of Worship

Text: Acts 16:16-34

Life is sometimes unfair - sometimes we can even suffer for doing the right thing! That was the case for Paul and Silas in Acts 16:16-34. But despite being unjustly thrown in prison, they chose to worship through their suffering. In doing so, their worship impacted three different audiences - the Lord, the church, and the world. God did some amazing things when Paul and Silas chose to worship instead of complain. We should always remember that with every trial comes an invitation to worship!
