Worthy of It All: Worthy of Our Worship

Text: Matthew 2:1-12, NIV

Each person connected to Christ’s birth gave something in response to the Lord, and we should be willing to give the same. There is no single gift sufficient to describe the gratitude we should have for all that He has given us because “He is worthy of it all.” In this message, we discover how God invited the magi to come from a great distance to seek and experience the Savior. Fully believing in who Jesus is, they arrived with full hearts and hands, offering their very best gifts to Jesus as an act of worship and devotion. We invite you to listen to consider what you can give to Him as an act of worship today!

Worthy of It All: Worthy of Our Priority

Text: Luke 2:1-20

Most people will spend much time this season trying to find the perfect gift for someone they love. We pray that you will especially consider all that God has done for you, and what you can give as an act of worship to Him. Each person connected to Christ’s birth gave something in response to the Lord, and we should be willing to give the same. There is no single gift sufficient to describe the gratitude we should have for all that He has given us, but as we study, we will repeatedly find that “He is worthy of it all.” In this message, we discover how God invited the shepherds to experience the Savior and commissioned them to share His Good News with others. They responded by dropping everything and making Jesus the greatest priority in their lives. We invite you to listen to consider how the Lord is inviting you to know Him so that He might have His proper place in your life today!

Worthy of It All: Worthy of Our Obedience

Text: Matthew 1:16-25

Most people will spend much time this season trying to find the perfect gift for someone they love. We pray that you will especially consider all that God has done for you, and what you can give as an act of worship to Him. Each person connected to Christ’s birth gave something in response to the Lord, and we should be willing to give the same. There is no single gift sufficient to describe the gratitude we should have for all that He has given us, but as we study, we will repeatedly find that “He is worthy of it all.” In this message, we discover how God interrupted Joseph’s plans to invite him to partner with God in His plan to bring salvation to the world. His response and gift to the Lord was simple, but profound – he simply obeyed. We invite you to listen today to consider how you, too, can give complete obedience to the Lord.

Worthy of It All: Worthy of Our Surrender

Text: Luke 1:26-38, 46-50

Christmas has become synonymous with gift-giving for many reasons. Regardless of its origins, this is quite fitting because we should ultimately be celebrating the fact that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.” It is through faith in Jesus that we receive eternal life, the riches of Heaven, fellowship with the saints, and all the heavenly gifts of God. Truly, God has given us so much, but the question we must now answer is this: “What will I give Him?” What is it that you will give to the Lord in response to His generosity towards you? From Luke 1, we discover what Mary gave to the Lord in response to His work in her life, and we invite you to listen to this message today to consider how you can give the same.
