The Kingdom Way: You Better Check Yourself

In Matthew 6, Jesus was fully aware that the religious influence of the Pharisees was misleading many people. Because of their religious and “righteous” conduct, they were convinced they were in a right relationship with God, but their “righteousness” was a manmade form that was only skin deep. This message explains Jesus’ powerful warning about the deceptiveness of our outward appearances, even when we are committed to good things. He calls us to take intentional time to examine our hearts to make sure that we are truly in a right relationship with Him and that this is the motive for our actions. The Kingdom Way: To Be Like Jesus

Text: Matthew 5:38-48

We all face conflict in relationships and difficulties in this fallen world, but let’s be honest – some people are difficult to get along with. There can be personality conflicts, communication conflicts, unrealistic expectations, and a host of issues. Jesus does not ignore this hard reality of life, but instead instructs us how to treat difficult people and demonstrate God’s love. In fact, He even shows that our treatment of others reveals something very important about our relationship with God. If you have ever dealt with a difficult person or situation, or think that you will in the future, then this message is for you. We pray that it will encourage you and challenge you as you examine what it means to be like Jesus.

Easter In The Valley

Text: 1 Corinthians 15:12-22, 51-58

There are many mysteries of life that we can reflect upon and question “What if?”, but have you ever considered, “What if Jesus hadn’t risen from the grave? What if He came to this fallen world, died on a cross, was buried in a tomb, and that was it? What if there was nothing else for God to reveal to the world?” It may seem like a strange thing to consider, but it is something specific that God addressed through the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15. As you listen to the message, we pray that God gives you a deep understanding of what the resurrection of Jesus truly means for us today.

Amazing Grace

Text: Romans 5:6-11, 18-21

There are many joys and gifts from God that we would not know if it weren’t for the resurrection of Jesus, but before His victorious resurrection, there was a sacrificial, grace-filled, unimaginable crucifixion. Many do not understand the significance of Jesus’ sacrifice, but those who do and willingly accept it by faith understand that it is through the cross of Jesus that we experience God’s grace and salvation. His grace is more profound than any mystery, deeper than any ocean, higher than Heaven itself, and more amazing than any combination of words could fully articulate. Today, God brings us a powerfully encouraging message to assure us of the most incredible news possible, “Where sin increased, grace abounded all the more.” We encourage you to listen closely, examine your response to the Lord, and share this Good News with others.
