Text: Matthew 6:25-34
This message from the Sermon on the Mount addresses an issue that we all wrestle with to some extent – worry. We have all known the worry of a health crisis, an uncertain future, the wellbeing of a friend, etc. There are many things that cause worry and many ways that our worry is expressed verbally, emotionally, and physically in our lives. Therapists may offer various tools and techniques to solve our problems, but the world has no lasting solution for this struggle. In this passage, Jesus points us to the greater spiritual implications of our worry and then clearly explains the solution, which is easier than you might think. We invite you to listen closely today, that you might discover God’s plan and draw near to Him.
