Matthew 7:1 is one of the most misquoted, misused, and misrepresented verses in all the Bible. Many people, including professing Christians, hear it and conclude that a Christian should never judge anyone or anything, but is this really what Jesus actually meant? Sadly, many people use this verse for their own selfish motives, quoting it when they want to silence the truth, resist confrontation, or protect themselves from accountability. To understand what Jesus meant, we simply must look at the context and listen to this message.
