First Things First: The Priority of Sharing Jesus

Text: John 9:1-41

If we have personally experienced the Lord and know His goodness, we will want to share it with others, and we have been called to do just that. Yet, we often struggle to fulfill this simple calling. In our human nature, we allow fear, pressure, intimidation, and uncertainty to win the day and keep us silent. John 9 gives the record of a blind man who was healed by Jesus. He had not followed Jesus for years, did not have training in the Mosaic Law or a seminary education, and he had never attended an evangelism conference. What he did have was a personal encounter and a life-changing experience with Jesus, and with this, he boldly shared Jesus with the religious leaders of his day. We invite you to be challenged to share Jesus with others today and be encouraged by how He might work when you do.
