Rahab Needed More Than Rehab: The Transforming Power of the Gospel

Nature forms us, sin deforms us, prisons try to reform us, education informs us, but only Christ can transform us! Brian Autry, Executive Director of the SBC of Virginia, reminds us of the transforming power of the Gospel through the life of Rahab the prostitute, in Joshua 2. Brian has served as a church planter, pastor and as a missions leader. The SBC of Virginia is a fellowship of more than 650 local churches from across the Commonwealth of Virginia and D.C. We seek to have a global impact through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, strengthening and mobilizing churches as they make disciples, build leaders, and plant churches. Gospel of John: The Love of Jesus is Contagious

What is the distinguishing characteristic of those who follow Jesus? A creed, behavior or something else? In John 13:31-35, Jesus said that there is only one thing that makes His followers obvious to the world...love for each other. And this is is what makes the love of Jesus contagious. Once someone understands it, they want it and, once they have it, they can’t help but give it away!
