Nature forms us, sin deforms us, prisons try to reform us, education informs us, but only Christ can transform us! Brian Autry, Executive Director of the SBC of Virginia, reminds us of the transforming power of the Gospel through the life of Rahab the prostitute, in Joshua 2. Brian has served as a church planter, pastor and as a missions leader. The SBC of Virginia is a fellowship of more than 650 local churches from across the Commonwealth of Virginia and D.C. We seek to have a global impact through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, strengthening and mobilizing churches as they make disciples, build leaders, and plant churches. Gospel of John: Jesus is Careful with the Prideful and Presumptuous
Some say that pride is the root of all sin. It may be true, but pride is still merely a sin for which Christ Jesus died. A good example of a prideful person who Jesus molded into His servant was Simon Peter. Today, we will look at the life, ministry, good day and bad days of Simon Peter from John 13:36-38.
Gospel of John: The Love of Jesus is Contagious
What is the distinguishing characteristic of those who follow Jesus? A creed, behavior or something else? In John 13:31-35, Jesus said that there is only one thing that makes His followers obvious to the world...love for each other. And this is is what makes the love of Jesus contagious. Once someone understands it, they want it and, once they have it, they can’t help but give it away!
Who is Willing to Take the Stairs?

In today’s message, Pastor John will unpack the challenges of the early church and compare them to the challenges of the modern day church while asking the question: Who is Willing to Take the Stairs?
