When an individual’s faith is tested through trials and circumstances he is prone to live in doubt, discouragement, and fear. However, through God’s Word we learn that a believer doesn’t have to live in such defeat. Because of His presence and His present work in our lives, even in times of trials we can be confident in Who He is and what He has declared us to be. This confidence gives us the perspective we need to walk in victory in times of testing.
Title: Walking in Harmony
Text: 1 Peter 1:17-2:3
When we face trials in life it can be easy to blame others and become bitter. However, God calls us to live in harmony with Him and with other believers regardless of what we face. In this message, we learn how, why, and what we must do to walk in harmony during our time on earth.
Title: Walking in Holiness
Text: 1 Peter 1:3-5, 10-16
Every person faces trials and sorrowful circumstances. These difficult times can cause us to question how we are to function and operate while we live in this fallen world. God reminds us through Peter that our life should be lived based upon our relationship with Him and not the constantly changing culture around us. No matter where we are or what we are going through, God calls us to walk in holiness because He is holy.
