Easter Sunday: Changed

Text: Matthew 13:54-58;  John 7:1-9; James 1:1-2, 12; 1 Corinthians 15:3-7

The resurrection of Jesus from the grave separates Christianity from all other religions. It is the resurrection that stands as the supreme evidence that Jesus of Nazareth is indeed the Savior and Lord. This reality is completely life-changing. In this message, we see this truth first-hand as we learn about one of Jesus’ closest companions. This companion spent most of his time with Jesus every single day, yet for the first thirty years of his life he didn’t believe. However, something dramatic happened in AD 30 that radically changed his life. He would never be the same because of that moment.

Faith Under Fire: Walking in Grace

Text: 1 Peter 2:21-25

In this message, we are reminded about the amazing love that God demonstrated by sending His Son to the cross for man’s sins and the amazing grace that He offers for us to be forgiven and cleansed. There are many trials and circumstances that we all face because of the wounds of our sin. However, because Jesus paid the penalty of our sin and rose again to defeat it we have the extraordinary promise that we can be healed through Him. This message explains the key to experiencing this healing.

Faith Under Fire: Walking in the Gift of Marriage

Text: 1 Peter 3:1-7

There are many trials that we go through in life which test our faith and challenge us in many ways. One such way that many are struggling today is in their marriage. Even as Nero issued intense persecution on the church at Rome, so, too, has Satan issued an all-out attack on Christian marriages. In this message, we are encouraged to get back to God’s plan for the home and to recognize that marriage is a gift from God. When both the wife and the husband follow God’s blueprint for the home, it will be a beautiful gift that keeps on giving life, love, and joy.
